I have been on the back of bikes for a lot of my life and at first this brought back happy memories of riding through Wales, overtaking the cars, silently trying to beat your mate but this video that you posted,DTCwordfan, made me gasp and think myself lucky.I am glad you posted that.I was always 100% trusting of the rider, but as he said as he grew older and wiser, you can trust yourself, but you can never tell what other people are doing. He never speeds now,its not boring, just safe.
I just think how many lives have been changed by that one person who was speeding who hit the car.
Maybe clips like this, although shocking should be shown in schools,to show kids why some laws are the way they are.

It has shown by the police in schools down here......quite staggering at the end....Think it was 172mph they recorded as the fastest.
The sentence on the guy videoing was 51 weeks suspended for two years and a 3 year driving ban. By the way, they weren't in their twenties, both forty-something......think that they would have known better.

bike driver was, gromit, the sentence the one in my last post.....the bikerin front lost his head, clean off him, under the van coming the other way when he was thrown across the road.
The car driver who nudged outwards and clipped the biker claimed he had looked in the mirror, nothing there, and there probably wasn't - if you noticed they had accelerated from 35 to over 90 in less than 200 yards...that was deemed 'out of the ordinary and irresponsible behaviour' on the road.
