It seems that the EUphiles cannot bear the truth and have to resort to their usual name calling. Ok you can call me a swivel eyed knuckle dragging little Englander now!

Nigel has a point though, do we want the EU to dictate our politics and our every vestige of life from Brussels? We have our own Head of State and elected ministers in Parliament. Bendy bananas and cucumbers are just as good as straight ones.
26 milion people in Europe are after your job? Oh, yes, I remember there were thousands of Bulgarians and Romanians among them when restrictions were lifted this year. Reporters went down to the airports and found about two.
Everyone has his own ideas about "truth", I suppose, but I won't be getting mine from a politician.

Cameron shoudl be worried? Yes, but so should Milliband, many of these posters are being put in labour heartlands. If Milliband things immigration is a thing of the right he will be sadly mistaken. If anything true workers have been saying this for a long time, labour and the chattering classes just crushed their voice with crys of Racist.
This could get very interesting. If nothing else I see a wakeup call for many politicians.

UKIP beat Labour into third at the last European elections.
At the elections next month, UKIP will win getting the most seats, beating Labour into second. It will be a disaster for The Conservatives and the LibDems.
UKIP will not harm Labour, they get most of their votes from dissatisfied Conservatives.

Seems like it was also a disaster for Labour.

Simply by your quotes it seems that UKIP has already harmed Labour.

It is just a prediction but if Labour came third last time and come second this time they have improved.
If the Consevatives came first last time, and come third this time it will be a disaster.
If the Libdems came fourth last time and come fourth again next month then they will not have improved.
It will be a very good day for UKIP and a good day for Labour.

No. Labour's poor result in 2009 was more due to to the economic collapse, tiredness by the voters of 12 years of a Labour Government and Brown being a very poor Prime Minister. Both Conservatives and UKIP profited from that, but it was more Labour's weakness at the time rather than UKIP strength.. We will probably see Labour and UKIP doing well next month.

They were already here, simply because Labour didn't put the ban on them in the first place, just like most other European countries did at that time.

I have no intention of calling you any names TTT ! It would be counter-productive to do so. Anyway, wouldn't it be nice if we could all debate this hoary old chestnut in a civilised manner ?
We have discussed this many times here on AB. If the lazy, work-shy British dole-bludgers would only get off the sofa and go to work, most of these immigrant workers wouldn't bother to come to Britain in the first place. They are only here because jobs are available, the same jobs that so many of our own citizens can't seem to find.
I am in Cornwall for a few days. Local farmers can't get local unemployed people to work in the fields for love nor money. If it wasn't for immigrant workers, the potatoes, and daffodils would rot in the fields. This isn't hearsay....I have actually spoken to many of these farmers. I was in the local Lidl earlier this morning and there was a Polish chap on the Till. Before anyone comes in with the "but these foreigners will work for less money than Brits" argument, I am not prepared to entertain the notion that Lidl has two rates of pay, one for the Polish, and one for the Cornish.
There are a couple from Latvia in the pitch next to mine. I met them first 2 years ago. They both work at Heathrow. He is the one with the table tennis bats, that direct aircraft on landing, and his wife works in one of the First Class lounges, looking after wealthy people, before they depart. Neither of them did this work in Latvia, but were trained at Heathrow when they arrived. When they first came over to Britain 4 years ago, he worked as a labourer on a building site and she was a waitress in a greasy spoon.
Why were both of those jobs available at Heathrow, for this couple to take in the first place ? Why were both vacancies not already filled by our own unemployed ?

Tell me Gromit if the voters were tied after 12 years of a Labour Government how have Labour's policies changed so as to awaken the voters, and won't Milliband also make a poor Prime Minister for this country?
