I agree anne, the poor woman must be quite ill if she is being detained under the Mental Health Act.
Those poor children, sounds like they all had difficult short lives. Very sad all round.

It is bad enough having one child with a life threatening condition who needs constant care, but to have three I for one feel so sorry for her - there is such a thin line between sanity and insanity I presume she just fell apart - I cannot imagine her daily routine with the three children, who knows what we would do in that position.

AOG, I don't think anyone is forgetting the children and how they must have suffered in their short lives, or how those lives came to an end at the hand of their own mother. I think most of us can just feel some sort of compassion for a very sick woman who must have been pushed to the edge. It is possible to feel sorry for the children and the mother.
/What about those poor defenceless little young children she murdered./
Well anyone with any sense realises that the children can be "poor defenceless" and the mother who gave birth to them, cared for them then killed them is also worthy of some sympathy and consideration.
the two are not mutually exclusive!

This brings some clarity understanding to this very sad story.
