Three More Policemen Sacked !
Three more Policemen are sacked, this time in Hampshire. It seems that slowly but surely our police are losing that Teflon coating at last.

What a relief for the other honest, hardworking Officers, to be rid of people like these. Perhaps this will give other Chief Constables the encouragement to get rid of a few more rotten apples.

We can only hope - and support them. The problem is that the attack on the police by vested interests is so relentless, magnifylingly public, and persistent that it is only natural for them to close ranks under such assault.
We should be better employed by using such events to encourage them to clean up their act rather than to condemn them all out of hand which is what is happening in most cases.

AOG
Yes...we should definitely celebrate.
If the police and the IPCC have investigated found that they have not reached the standards demanded by the force, then it's right that they should be dismissed.
I personally do not wish to hear exactly what these men have said. Let them disappear and get low paid security work.

/// Why do you need to know AOG, wasn't the six month internal investigation good enough for you? ///
Seems strange that some are only too willing to accept internal investigations/inquiries etc, when the outcome suits their own particular agenda.
Failing not to do so, then they can't wait to shout "cover-up" and demands for a public inquiry.

and that is because AOG - you are old enough to know
an internal investigation may not be up to scratch
or so bad it has to be done again
such as the Prime Minister ( bless and all his OE chumz ! ) asking Sir Jeremy Mandarin to look at Plebgate - and when it was shown Sir Jeremy hadnt looked at the CCTV or even thought about it, ( Sir J) commented,
o God I hadnt realised I was meant to investigate.....
durrrrrr.
yes AOG - lets have more of that !

Sir J didnt think it was the function of a mandarin of the level of Cabinet Secretary to er... well... do anything besides look at the papers already accumulated.
and he looked over them and shuffled them a bit, and murmured yes yes, it does look as tho Andrew Mitchell called them all effing plebs
Still in place altho I have been expecting a mandarin of that calibre to get promoted to the Lords
