We Are Back!!!

Well that's a holiday I won't forget!
First 3 days were great. Yesterday we had booked a day return to France. We got the ferry ok, drove towards Auchen supermarket where we always go. France was totally closed. It was May 1st. Bank holiday. Every shop was closed. We eventually found a Small Majestic wine shop. Had a look round not much there bought a fewbits and bobs. Driving back to town to try and get an earlier ferry back we spotted a wine outlet on an industrial estate we have used before. It was open. Went in and stocked up properly with the vino. OH went to pay for his and discovered he had lost his bag, it had passports, credit cards, ferry booking and cash. Panic stations, what do we do. I paid for his stuff. Then I asked an assistant to phone Majestic. Luckily it was there, he had only left it in the shopping trolley out in the yard. Some kind person handed it in, and everything was intact, what a relief!
Then today what a disaster. Park home bathrooms are extra tiny. I had a shower and on getting out I slipped and fell, I landed on my mules that were on the floor. I also really banged my arthritic hip. Could hardly move. Then I realised I was bleeding very heavily "down there" I managed to sit on the loo. Oh came to see what I had done. Gave me my phone and suggested I ring ambulance because he couldn't do on my mobile as he is totally deaf. I rang, said it was on its way, operator kept me talking in case I went funny, I did. Passed out, hit forehead on sink ended up on the floor. Came round tried to get up, passed out again. Ambulance men came. Bathroom looked like a bloody massacre, walls, floors, shower, loo all covered. They reckoned I had lost over a litre of blood.
Took ages to get me in ambulance as I was in so much pain.
Got to hospital, they had to give almost a bed bath I was in so much of a mess. Had two lots of X-rays, luckily hips not damaged only badly jarred.
Bleeding was from an internal cut I had managed to do when I fell.
Blood pressure usually 130 now was 85 as I had lost so much. They had me down as nil by mouth. I was starving nothing from 6.00 pm yesterday. I was starving and so thirsty. I was eventually discharged after a lot of pleading at 5.30 pm. Drove home and arrived back at 9.50. Absolutely shattered.
Oh and while we were there someone scratched our car in the car park. She actually apologised and offered her details. OH said don't worry about it, there are already a few marks so forget it.
When we got home we unpacked the food box, everything was covered in a bowny spicy liquid. OH had put a bottle of Worcester sauce in the box with no lido it and it had emptied over everything, I had to wash tins, water bottles, spices, food bags and loads of other stuff.
What a day I don't want another like this.
Glad to be back. Missed you all.
