Problems With Fraud At Sky

Not really quite sure where I should have posted this, so forgive me if its in the wrong place :::

Just seen this in this mornings Guardian. Its very worrying that such a well known company should be using these tactics. I gave up my Sky subscription 2 years ago, because I found that with the Iplayer and other free sites, I no longer needed to spend nearly £30 a month on something I didn't need. But I have been door-knocked 3 times and rung frequently by Sky. I no longer open the door to them and my home phone is off the hook.

Last year I was "promised" a huge increase in broadband speed, even though it couldn't then be possible as fibre-to-the-cabinet had yet to be installed in area.

A warning to others I hope.

mikey if you get your local council to spend thousands putting up no cold calling area signs it is still no good as they only apply to dodgy salesmen not sky salesmen, so you still have to buy little signs for your front window
