His press conference tonight.
Sorry you didn't like the food matey but better than being dragged from your home, in front of your young children, tortured and executed by the IRA - the people who, again, you said today you would never disassociate yourself from.

I had similar ungracious thoughts when I heard the poor little chappie was being questioned up to 17 h a day to wit: did you give Mrs McC any breaks other than the breaks in her fingers before shooting her? to wit: did you give Mrs McC any breaks other than the breaks in her fingers before shooting her?
She as a widow of a serviceman had put a pillow under the head of a wounded soldier outside her house. Everyone knew she was beaten to death for doing that and a similar fate would await anyone else assisting or first-aiding troops
no one did
The info was then spread that she was a police informer ( when she wasnt ) and that was why she was killed. Everyone knows that if you are beaten hard enough, you will confess to anything to make it stop. [ The Americans are re-learning this in Guantanamo ]
The one year old - [at the time] has said -OK come around and kill me if you want. I will speak out. But it can only be hearsay.
The 11 y o ( at the time ) is so freaked by the threats made at the time, he has said he wont. Kind of a pity, since he was an eye-witness to the abductors and can identify them.
My sympathies are solely with the McConnell family [ RIP ]

he has been, however to answer the question as to why no one will talk, fear of being murdered. Her son said so, if you read what they did to him as a young lad, the fact remains that he is out, that doesn't mean to say he is innocent. This will be a hard one to call, because a couple who had made witness statements years ago have since died, and those who are in the know won't say. the peace accord was brokered on the back of many murders of innocents, in Ireland, and on the mainland, i always think that to call it the troubles smacks of some minor skirmish, it wasn't and isn't.
far too many, and its not over yet, as Sandyr will i am sure agree,
