Waste Of Money ....
5 Answers
I always thought Almay cosmetics were hypoallergenic - the eye make up in particular, good for sensitive eyes. I recently bought a mascara Almay Intense i-color and used it for the first time this morning. Within minutes I could feel my eyes beginning to tingle but I persevered with it all day and the feeling wore off. But tonight they have suddenly got so sore I have had to take my eye make up off. What a waste of money, I can't get my money back as it has been used. :(

I start by saying something positive and then letting them know what my issue is. You could have make-up from a dodgy batch, make sure you include the batch number or other identifying number in your email.
Ann the same happened to me. This weekend I went to Boots chemist to buy some makeup, I am allergic to perfumed makeup and specifically asked the saleswoman which I should buy. Boots own makeup is supposedly hypo allergenic and she applied some to my face in-store. I used it Saturday and Monday but by Tuesday my face had itchy blobs, so I've wasted money there.
Hypoallergenic doesn't necessarily mean that everyone can use it unfortunately as you could be sensitive to one of the ingredients in the product that perhaps most people are tolerant of, I was never able to use their stuff, and don't get me started on hypoallergenic jewellery. I agree with the others though, send a complaint.
