Its unbelievable that some people should be so stupid as to abuse a blind woman when she is out with her guide dog. What kind of people are they ?

They learn from their feckless parents.
Shameful behaviour !
Stevenage morons showing their true colours
I think the difference from when I was at school (70s and 80s) is that kids got bullied and picked on, but it would never, ever occur to us to bully an adult.
Really Lyn?
Well when I have children Lyn, it's certainly top of my priorities to teach them to abuse disabled people. What a ridiculous idea.
I take Lyn to mean that adults throw abuse around (to anyone and about anything) and their offspring copy and think it's fine if parents do it.
Ummmm, where do you think they learn this sort of behavior from?
Society in general?
School teachers?
Peers?
I would love to know.
How do I know? I do know though that kids from good parents can also be horrible things.
Most definitely Ummmm.
My parents were/are fine upstanding members of the community, but as a teenager, well, I'm not saying any more about me.
I was "prodded into line very quickly".
Seems some aren't, worst of luck.
Children learn things by observation that's true. That can be by observing their unpleasant peers, emulating fictional characters, copying a teacher who might pick on one particular pupil or indeed by observing their parents, but I don't know of anyone, anyone at all who would encourage their child to victimise a blind woman.
And that reflects upon the family life and the standards some parents insist upon.
I have heard parents farewell their children for a night out. Most say "have a good time and behave". Others have said "don't get caught".
Makes one wonder.
My parting line is always 'be good'
That's a great parting line, in my opinion, enjoy yourself doesn't hurt either.
Thanks to all that have contributed to an interesting topic.
Goodnight, sweet dreams, I'll definitely check in tomorrow to see if it has progressed.
Lol...I say that as well...and I love you.
Lol...that was aimed at you, that's what I say to my kids :-)
