What is rubbish Roy ? Bringing up your children to eat a range of different items, or just filling your kids up with chips, burgers, and crisps ?
Just seems common sense to me, which was the gist of the BBC link.
No, I have no children, but I have nieces and nephews that don't eat any fruit whatsoever. The only thing that apples, pears, bananas, strawberries, oranges, etc, etc have in common is that we call them all fruit, so how can any child not like such a wide range of different tastes, and textures ? A strawberry and a banana taste completely different !
When I was growing up, in the 50's and 60's, a plate of strawberries for Sunday tea was a luxury, and if I or any of my four brothers would have sulked and said "I don't like strawberries" he would have been elbowed out of the way by the rest of us, in a rush to get his portion.
Same thing with veg..what's not to like about a roasted potato ?
