So international condemnation can make a difference then? Let's hope the same can be said for Pakistan and India.

If I didn't know there are several agencies watching I might be inclined to think we will never hear of her again, but hopefully we will. It has been said that the appeals process is a very long one. Let me know if you hear anything.
Question Author
Yes, probably BECAUSE the agencies are watching, no news is good news.

Regarding your last sentence, I will if you will:-)
Of course. :o)
Question Author
But her brother still wants to kill her. They need to get her out of Sudan quickly.
Apologies for posting another thread about this Ladybirder, I didnt notice you had posted this until Naomi pointed it out, but good news at least.
Question Author
Ah thanks Naomi and kv, this explains why I was talking to myself last night.

Lovely picture of the family and those who helped them in the Mail today. Still fear for her though until she's out of there and I suppose she could be a target for some nutter for the rest of her life.
Ladybirder, sorry I didn't respond earlier - I was travelling all day yesterday and only caught up late last night.
Question Author
S'OK:-) I remember you said you were away from home and were travelling back yesterday.

I am generally amazed when anybody bothers to respond to anything I have to say anyway. X
Why? I like what you say. You're a sensible lady. :o)
Question Author
Been called a lot worse than that Naomi LOL:-)
Haaa! Me too! :o)
Question Author
NO! She's been arrested again at Khartoum airport, along with her husband and children Just heard it on BBC News on radio now!
Question Author
My god what a bunch of savages.
Oh noooo, what the hell is wrong with the world?
Question Author
Her lawyer says she is now held in the National Security Office???? What the hell is going on? How dare they the ba$tards. Poor babies as well.
Question Author
The DM is saying she was arrested by around FORTY National Security Guards for trying to flee the country! And that the National Security Force doesn't have to take them to court. How can they hold her husband and children? Her husband is a US citizen for a start. What's he done wrong? It gets better and better doesn't it! Can't concentrate on doing my online grocery order now.
She;s been freed again ' apparently'- I just hope they get out of there asap before anything else goes wrong.
