Should religion be banned in state supported schools ?
Religion is frequently the most divisive factor in society , should it therefore be left to parents to make independent arrangements outside schools.
In that way children could learn to live together in a neutral school environment.
For years we have been brain washing our children to follow one faith out of hundreds. Not one of which can be Proved to be anything more than the myths of yesteryear.
Faith schools, as in Birmingham are examples of this virus being paid for by us all .
We don't officially teach party politics in state schools , so why emphasise
certain faiths. The present government's policy of encouraging faith schools will turn us into another Northern Ireland.

When we like to question christianity we are allowed to (without the threat of death). Anyone in this country can adopt whichever religion they want (except muslims) who face the threat of apostasy, which carries the death sentence. My relative became a JW in her 30's and as a family we all respect her beliefs.
Yes. All faith lessons should be in churches, synagogues, mosques etc.

If parents want their children brought up within a faith doctrine, then they can do so at home or in their chosen place of worship.
