/// Migrant parents care more about their children’s education than those from white working-class backgrounds, Ofsted’s chief said yesterday. ///
/// Pupils from migrant, black and Asian families were getting more backing at home – and it is helping them outperform their white classmates, he said. ///
Would such things be said if the roles were reversed and it was said that;
White parents care more about their children's education than those from migrant parents?
Or that;
Pupils from white families were getting more backing at home – and it is helping them outperform their migrant, black and Asian classmates?

You can ultimately make statistics say whatever you want them to. I personally think we shouldn't pussy foot about and we should discuss if race play a part in all sorts of things, including education. It only really becomes ' racist' if we start to treat one racial group very much differently to the others solely on the basis of their race.
I have a friend who works in a Birmingham primary school where almost all the children are Asian.
Every so often an Asian child will not turn up for school for a few days.
So they have to call in for help to find out what has happened to the child and the authorities go round to the house and often find it is empty.
When talking to neighbours it usually turns out the family have all gone back to Pakistan or India for 3 months or so, but nobody bothered to tell the school.
After 3 months the child returns to school having spoken Urdu or whatever for 3 months and they virtually have to be taught English again so they can start to learn.
The "problems" my friend tells me about with Asian children and families would I am sure make you all angry.
It has made me realise one of the WORST decisions this country has ever made was to allow so many Asian people into this country.
If I could reverse one "decision" that would be my choice.

And you do not think that Sir Michael Wilshaw is not treating one racial group ie white working class, differently to others solely on the basis of their race, simply by the comments he made?
