I've never heard of it before but I've always had it, to the point where certain images can make me retch, shake and give me goosebumps on my upper arms.

My colleague mentioned this to me today and I made the fatal mistake of googling. Cue much retching...

Anyone else suffer from this?

I'm not googling it. I have enough allergies and phobias as it is. I don't want another one.
Lol, c'mon Tilly, google it you know you want to !.

I still feel queasy now.
Nope. I'm just about to eat my dinner.
Okay, google it after dinner.
Won't help that this lotus seed thing keeps making the rounds on social media then!
Yup.
I think that's why I couldn't watch that BBC ident where the large head was made up of smaller heads.....
I have issues with bubbles in a basin of water (usually shampoo where the lather is richer).....and once, to my immediate surprise, I threw up whilst watching a documentary about the red crab invasion of Christmas Islands.

I had no idea there was a proper name for it.....:o)

That's what caused me to be grossed out today, gf. Did you see the picture of the lotus flower photocopied onto the woman's breast? Beyond disgusting...

That Sanex ad makes me feel sick too.
Its odd what makes is turn funny isn't it. This doesn't really bother me but there are things that turn my stomach also so i sympathise. I've no idea what this lotus seed thing is about but it's been making the rounds for quite some time now.
Fascinating...glad to say I'm not bothered by it. Sympathy to those who are.
Sanex ad is totally GROSS.
How awful for you - I suppose you can't enjoy Aero chocolate.

I sympathise, phobias are so illogical, yet so inescapable for sufferers.
I do agree with you, canary..... and very sorry for sufferers, since these sort of patterns fascinate me (as do Mandelbrot sets). NoM, it sounds horrid, but unknown to me until now. Thank goodness we can talk about phobias these days....
