/// ANOTHEOLDGIT, where in the article does it say the employee was not white? Yet again you make assumptions based upon nothing but your own prejudices. ///
I do not make assumptions based on nothing, but you do it seems.
*** Police are investigating claims she was escorted from a Tesco in Helston, Cornwall, after a row with a black pharmacist last Friday. ***
*** It is claimed she told the man he should not be allowed in England and should be working in Nigeria. ***

She will not have been detained under the MHA for allegedly abusing a black man last Friday. If there were no mental health issues she would simply have been arrested. She has not been.
She will have been detained because she requires treatment, or for her safety or for the safety of others. The article above states that police were called to the area where she lives on Monday after concern for a woman's welfare. There is no confirmation the two incidents are linked, but imo it seems quite likely. If that is indeed the case it seems she may have been detained for her own safety.
Very sad. I cant help thinking how she must have been traumatised by what she witnessed that day.

He was correct but it was not based on the information in the article.
Yes I was correct, one should research into all reports before one jumps in to accuse another.
/// He says he is supporting this woman but why? She alleged telt the pharmacist he should not be allowed in England and to go to Nigeria. Would he support a black woman telling a white man to work in ///
And I did not support this woman for what she was alleged to have said, but only for my original comment,
"I wonder if she would have been detained under the Mental Health Act had the Tesco worker been white"?
And the fact that I was called xenophobic.

ANOTHEOLDGIT you had not researched any other articles prior to your original post otherwise why did it take you two further posts to show links to other sites.
"And I did not support this woman for what she was alleged to have said, but only for my original comment,"
Yet you said, "How can I be xenophobic when I am supporting a lady who happens to have been born in Brittany and has a French father?" so you WERE supporting her and NOT what you had said.
Not backtracking again are you?
