Why Hasn't The Bbc Apologised Over Harris?

Apparently he is worth £11m. Most of that came from the BBC. But they have been silent on the issue. Yet with Savile they couldn't apologise fast enough. Do they still see him as an asset or something?

Now you know ITV employed him, why will you not call on them to aplogise?

Is your problem with the BBC due to something else?

Would you want it to happen to your child though? This is surely the main point.

No one would want their child or partner to be molested by a celebrity. If the BBC or ITV had have known it was happening, they would not have employed him. So they are blameless in this insance. (Saville a different matter).

I think if complaints were made at the time to the BBC or ITV and they were not acted upon then I think maybe there is something to apologize for. But I am not aware that this is the case. Surely the responsibility is with Mr Harris not his employer.

Has it been shown that the BBC were complained to and ignored those complaints? If yes, then maybe an apology may appease some - if no then they have nothing to apologise for.

What have they to apologise for ?? If a woman is groped twenty times ! for god's sake why didn't she turn round on him and give him a slap.
Rolf Harris' money apparently might have to go in compensation to those women 'victims'who come forward.

I can't see the point in apologising, but I think the BBC should conduct an inquiry.

There is also the matter of the missing painting of the Queen, what has happened to that?

It is reported that some of Harris's paintings will be destroyed, why?

No I wouldn't like it to happen to my child but can someone tell me
just how many children did he assault. As for the friend of Bindi's it musn't have affected her all that much. She went on to have a 15 yrs affair with him. Then tried blackmail for £25,000 or her brother would go to the press.!No-one seems to be bothered about that. It was all 'hail fellow well met' when Roache got off on all counts when his victim ( about 14 years old at the time )accused him, not of groping, but rape. There were also about 5or 6 other women who came forward then. Were they all lying.?

you may as well say that everyone who has ever paid money to Rolf Harris over the years needs to apologise. They were not complicit in the actions that he has been tried for and do not have any need to say anything.

They were annoying because they don't follow what I know (or thought I knew) about the BBC.
