Hmmm, no wonder Leon Britten has a selective memory - I imagine it's going to be getting a whole lot worse from here...

You might expect a knock at the door from the super injunction police, Gromit.
Not me though, never read that stuff.
Another thing I read this week on the BBC New Website was an interview with Geoffrey Dickens son. He said that his fathers home and office were both broken into in the same week years ago, but nothing appeared to have been taken. I wonder who might have been the burglars ?
// Mmmm ... the timing of this accusation seems convenient. //

The police currently have two investigations on the go, Operation Fairbank and Operation Fernbridge. Both are investing material related to Operation Yew Tree, but involving a Westminster paedophile ring in the 1980s.

There are also two MPs, Tom Watson and Simn Danczuk who are asking question in parliament, that are probably prompted by the police investigations. Danczuk has established that Cyril Smith was part of the Westminster paedophile gang and visited a male brothel. There are other prominent MPs names on the brothel's guest list.

After the fallout between the Police and the Conservative Party over Mitchel, the police may be persing the tory perverts with more than their usual vigor.
Lets hope so Gromit, but, to be fair, there were a sprinkling of Labour chaps involved as well.
Yes Mikey...

I have a Barry Manilow song stuck in my head for some reason.
This?

I'm afraid I don't know much about pop music, so you are going to have to be more specific Grom !
So I can go to the police and make an anonymous accusation from 45+ years ago with no evidence to back it up. That person's name is dragged through the mire and whatever the outcome or truth of the situation there will always be those who believe it, mud sticks forever. The Oxford student had his face plastered across the press yet was not charged, or, in the words of my late Mother "he got off with it".
Mikey the son says nothing was taken

I was astounded that G Dickens who was pretty fixated by this, didn't use the office photo copier to copy his file
and also to follow up the result of his allegations.....

Mikey,

The Mary Moss list features Liberals, Labour and even Sinn Fein MPs, but also several members of he Conservative's Monday Club. There was a political motive to the police's actions in the Andrew Mitchell plebgate case. The relationship between the Police and the Conservatives is at an all time low. Expect more revelations as he General Election nears.
Does it matter what their political affiliation is?

Hang them out to dry ...all of them!
Thanks sandy...crossed in the post. ( My God, hasn't he got a big nose ! )
PP...a possible answer and one that I side with is that Dickens was
"leaned on "
One member of the House of Lords
has been investigated at the time,
and allegations seem to have resurfaced....

All the usual suspects are finally rising to the surface, in the way that scum always does PP !
.

Mikey - Dickens leant on ? What the Dickens ?
No I dont think he was - he didnt shut up for example
and really had a thing about it....

the only thing that quietened him was his early death...
Harvey Proctor beating rent boys is hardly news,
it was all over the News of the World - that bastion of truth and justice - at the time.
There has been a fair few mysterious deaths in connection with all this mess.
.

// After the fallout between the Police and the Conservative Party over Mitchell, the police may be persuing the tory party with more than their usual vigor. //
yeah misquote I know....

you mean that it will turn out that there was a policeman there, at the time, taking notes ? OMFG ! ( and a viddie )
//Cameron has at last done something positive, for which I am grateful. //

yes, but what's the betting that whoever is put in charge of the inquiry is handed a wide brush and a very large tin of snowcem?
