Good Morning Early Birds!
167 Answers
Thursday. Lots of deer grazing on the hillside. I love to watch them. Some young badgers out play fighting and having fun, the pair of foxes heading for their seat for the dawn. Unusual to see a pair so often. All peaceful in the rookery this morning, they are unusually quiet though. the dawn chorus on the other hand is giving it some welly. Something I will never tire of hearing.
Foxy and the tiggys were in as usual. The tiggys must have been in the hedge waiting for foxy to finish and go, as soon as he had gone tiggy led his mrs. out and installed her under the table as usual and waited patiently while I put their supper out. If I put it out too early foxy will scoff it. It's lovely to watch tiggy looking after his lady so well. He obviously loves her very much.
I am going to Wotton-under-Edge this morning to the organic shop there, one or two things I'm getting short of. I need to make up some more shaving oil for starters.
Have a happy day everyone.

One poor fox had met his match in a 40 ton truck - at least the trucker had stopped and was taking the poor bu99er off the carriageway and placing it on the far side of the barrier. Guess that's the trouble with living out in the country, so much comes out of the hedgerows at a moments notice and don't realise what a motor vehicle is. I see so many different species on the side of the roads on the way to work - distresses G when we are out and about.
Morning Welshie and ark. I agree welshie, the wildlife don't understand that cars and lorries are not good to get in the way of. Badgers are the stupidest of the lot in that respect, charging along at 90 MPH straight onto the road. No need to cull them, enough commit suicide on the roads.
I love it here arc. But to see the wildlife means being out and about very early. 3 O'Clock I was out this morning, but I think it's worth it. Most of them have got used to me and just carry on.

Ark - it's a bit difficult to see the wildlife from West Yorkshire - the Pennines are in the way lol.
Minty - I'm allowed early starts at monthly reporting time - you agreed that. Anyway, Garth from HR is due here shortly after 6 - I shall be having a word with her and letting her know exactly what the situation is and how she can get the digit removed from her anal orifice and get it sorted.
Weather report - blue skies, traces of white fluffy clouds and the sun is warming up the tops of the trees on the railway embankment behind my office. It's weird not posting from G's kitchen on a Thursday morning..........

Morning Peas - some of us either have difficulty getting a full nights sleep, are workaholics or a mix of both - I fit into the latter when I'm in my own bed - no problems getting a good nights sleep when I'm at Gs. Says it all really - sooner it's permanent the better, as far as I am concerned - still, only 12 months 13 days to go, not that I'm counting, you understand
Peas - my language is well known for it's colour and my use of it is quite free when I get fired up and it just so happens that I have been in pain all night with a bad knee and am not in the mood to suffer fools - or HR Managers.......and it's not just her finger she needs to get out of her a rse - her head could do with extracting too..... must get another coffee.....
