First prize a game of mixed doubles (presumably "mixed" across the net only) with Dave and Boris. Won by, oh look, the wife of one of Vladimir Putin's cronies for a cool £160,000. I guess no one in Britain could live with the bidding, or the shame lol

They have to keep the political machine oiled somehow, champagne and caviare only goes so far :)
I'm glad the old trots pictured had a chance to roll up their sleeves and really muck in with the common man.
I wonder if it wouldn't be better to have a single pooled fund for political campaigning which is split in some "fair" way between all parties. The fund raising should all go into the same pot and be conducted in the same way that children in need, or a school fete is used to accrue cash. £50 to throw a tomato at Boris? £100 for a really rotten one. I'd give it a whack. Arm-wrestling with Prescott? Why not?
