It's one of the most shocking things I have read. The man should 'never' be released...
I thought that the idea of being a parent was to protect and educate their young until they are able to look after themselves. But the woman in the link seems to have been as much at fault as the guy.

But - I am not a parent so I must have got it all wrong.



He is precisely the type of person that prison is there for - to protect the rest of us from his evil. Correct sentences, correct judgement today.
Very correct but I expect to hear shortly some scum lawyer will be lniing his pockets on legal aid to take this to the ECHR who will undoubtedly overturn the ruling as violating his 'ooman rights.
Ghastly man...I agree Chili...I hope he rots in prison as well.
What a flimsy appeal attempt including 'not the worst that can happen?'

Some would argue the punishment was lenient!
The right decision on both, imo. If anything, i would have lengthened it.
Chilldo - next time you open your pay check and look at your superann,
you can say thank god for PP and the Human Rights Act..... the govt are itching to renege on promises made on my pensions contirbutions - to wit pay me less and pay themselves more.... and they cant on contributions already made because of .....

Your pension is getting even crapper in 2016 ( rather than 2008 ) on the grounds they can change the results of FUTURE contributions ( reasonable expectations argument ddoesnt work )

then you can settle back in your chair and Now I wonder why the Brits imprison twice as many as anyone else in Europe and for longer....

and ponder why a judge has said that the prisons dont exist for the numbers she wants to send away....
