I guess it depends on the context and who uses it naomi.
I remember the furore surrounding the former Foreign Secretary when a German newspaper referred to him as 'the Jew Rifkind'.
Not the best use of terminology, IMHO.
I suspect he was referring to the constant barage, but then then seems name calling rather than looking fo what he may have meant is more the ordder of the day.
The man is a politician, you can't trust anything he says, it will all be spin so take it in that manner.
AOG....not all Jews are Israeli and not all Israelis are Jews. But in this instance, he was speaking first and foremost as the Israeli Prime Minister, not as a Jew and I still think he was ignorant. I am far from being a supporter of Hamas, as I have tirelessly pointed out this last week or so, but in this case it is clearly Israel that is the prime aggressor in this current dispute.
