Eccles, on Youtube tap the three little dashes on the LHS, on the drop down menu go for Desktop, you can then find the video and copy and paste as normal. You probably won't be able to watch it on the iPad in this mode but the link should work. If you're using the app, I don't think you'll be able to do links.

It must be horrendous to report about children being hurt, it's bad enough watching it in the TV. Hopefully there will be some sort of compromise soon.

No matter how far forward the human race goes, humanity seems to go backwards :(

Making a difference is easier said than done. Gaza keeps breaking the peace deal. Gaza know it costs lives but they dont seem to care. How come its mostly women and kids, where do the men take cover ?

I watched J,S, reports from Gaza last week on news @7 on channel 4. they were heart breaking, but the little girl with the fractured skull was by far one of the most tragic pictures I have ever seen..... poor wee thing.. :(

Dreadful...both sides need to get around a table without further delay. And if America can't help to achieve that, than it should stop supporting Israel as it has done for the last 60 years.

Lots of jewish in USA who pay taxes and help maintain USA economy. Cant say the same of Palestinians.

Tamborine, women and children make good 'copy' for the media. The Israelis set about their butchery with an Old Testament zeal. 1400 plus killed the last time they attacked Gaza. I wonder will they reach that level of kills this time?

Sandy, afaik israelis bomb the places Palestines are shelling from. If Palestine weapons are sited in schools and hospitals to kill israelis, they have to retaliate to risk injury to their own population.

Am surprised the Arab States lie low, and dont attempt to solve this dilemma.

There has been some debate about fortune telling on here recently, and I am going to have a go at predicting the future.

Soon, but not just yet, Israel will stop their armed assault on Gaza, and it will all go (relatively) quiet for a year or two. America will continue to support Israel, as it dare not do anything else, as the Jewish vote is all-powerful in Washington.

The Palestinians will lick their wounds for a while and then start lobbing rockets over the border again. Israel will threaten for a few days but Hamas will take not notice, so Israel will start another offensive.

This cycle will continue for the foreseeable future, as nobody takes any notice of the United Nations, the very organisation that gave Israel statehood in the first place, in 1948-9.

If anyone has found a new way out of this horrible mess, they must be keeping it to themselves.

It doesn't actually make any sense for them to get around a table and talk. The two sides hate each other and want the other to die.

In those circumstances the logical thing for them to do is fire rockets at each other, which is what they're doing.

Not quite so logical for Hamas of course because their rockets don't do anything, except the ones that land on their own people.

The disgraceful thing is that so many innocent people are victims of the violence. They're obviously seen as acceptable collateral damage by both sides.
