Mad Over Fifties Club

well, here we are again. Another Saturday and time for Mad Over Fifties Club, so come on in for a giggle! Igor is on standby to collect, brooms, wellies, brollies and other sundry items, just don't hope for their safe return at the end of our evening as he likes to hide them about the Towers, and his memory isn't what it was......
Our tailcock tonight is the is the "Soggy Saturday" well named I think. It is an interesting brew with quite a kick! We also have the return of the Running Buffet - catch it if you can ...... For the less fit among us a light supper has been laid in the Snug, it includes volly vonts, horses doovers and canopies, as well as a delicious selection of other goodies.
We have a DJ booked for members wishing to dance down in the ballroom.
As always all our facilities are available to members, though I would recommend that members might prefer to remain indoors this evening in view of the inclement weather.
Queenie sends her apologies she will not be joining us this evening.
For the rofl I have:
3 bottles of Rose bubble bath (would the winner kindly refrain from tossing it in the moat or in the fountains - thank you)
Bag of odd socks - mostly left ones
12 Back issues of The Lady Magazine
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals
carriages at midnight

For the roffle, four Black plastic tyre valve caps ( one of them is split ) one 5/8'' ring spanner and a pair of running spikes size 8 ( no spikes ).
A bucket of 'Soggy Saturday' if you please Igor.

Evening Tony, yes I managed this week. I went for physio on my shoulder and came out with a walking stick for my knee, it has been a great help I still have to take those pills, so if I disappear, I shouldn't be for too long, just a nap - can't fight those pills! Can Igor fetch you a bucket, or woiuld you prefer a towel to dry off?
Evening nungate, Igor and Tony.
Left home bathed in sunshine. So you lot have pinched my rain!
Reckon family are getting soaked in Glasgow.
For the rifle I have a selection of bruhes. Eric is fed up with them getting under his twigs.
Nail brush, never recovered from trying to clean key hidden in garden. Travel tooth brush, bends at the wrong moment. Pastry brush, lost most of its brushiness. Complete set of make-up brushes, can't be bothered.
Clothes brush, seen better times (and clothes).
Piece de resistance, unused teapot spout brush, never drink tea, do not have a tea pot.

No, Tony, it should go straight to the laundry.
Stuey, feel free to dangle whatever and wherever you like - just be careful crossing that field after a few libations.
Sibs, lovely to see you. Queenie will be sorry to have missed you. She is staying over at her young man's. He's been here all week, all should be back to normal come Monday as he will be back at work after his holiday (I seem to have gained a son - after a fashion)
