The news has just reported that "at least one member of the family is believed to be a JW".

I thought Jehovah's Witnesses only refused blood products so why would their religion have anything to do with the treatment he is having?

If that child dies I hope the parents are arrested and tried for murder. Perhaps Social Services might do right by the other siblings if they are also as vulnerable to their parents whims and wilful neglect.

The following extract from JW.org's website might throw a little light on the way the parents were thinking:
