Get over yourself, it's too late for the sackcloth and ashes routine.
As naomi pointed out and the government have said the time has now come where the rights of the individual have fallen by the wayside in respect of the safety of the general public and wider community.
Draconian legislation is required to combat this threat so the apologists will now have to realise that they will not be pandered to.
