How Out Of Touch Are The Liberals

At PMQ's Ed, quite rightly, ripped into Cameron over the Governments terror proposals and action.

But digging deeper it appears the problem is the liberals, both Tory and Labour seem to be singing approximately the same tune.

How much longer must we cow-tow to this increasingly irrelevant party who represent a tinly minority of the public.

The LIMP DUMS came 3rd in a 2 horse race and yet, they are now "in power". Don't worry, after May they will be forever consigned to the history books. In the meantime though, they are a bl***y petty nuisance.

neither party had to go into coalition with them but one chose to do so. That is indeed democracy.

You'd really like it if all the parties were exactly the same? Centrism is quite bad enough already, I think. Good on the LibDems for being different. That's hy people voted for them.

I seen PMQs and I hardly seen Milliband rip into the PM and the PM thanked him for the support given.

I listened to Ed speaking on Radio 4. He said his party were fully supporting the government.

I've been saying since May 2010 that Mr Cameron should have formed a minority government, had a couple of defeats in the Commons and returned to the country by about November. The Coalition has been the biggest disaster for this country that could be imagined. Time and again perfectly sensible measures have been blocked by Clegg & Co (percentage of seats in the Commons: 8.8%) wielding the power of veto. It is obvious that to them the rights of terrorists and jihadists to live among the rest of us far outweigh the rights of the rest of us to live in peace and security. Roll on next May when they will be consigned to the dustbin.

Yes Ed is supportive, what I badly worded is that he ripped him on to coalition disarray - ie the liberals not agreeing.

no party won a majority in the last elections, as you well know, ymb. So the Tories made a deal in order to take power. "LibDems must vote as Cameron tells them to" was not part of the deal, strangely enough.

Well I am sure Ed is watching carefully and I reckon the liberals can kiss goodbye to any hopes of any sort of power after May.

Cameron has been clueless over Syria. Hague was awful, and wanted us to arm the Rebels, which included Islamic State. Thankfully Miliband was able to stop them.

Not sure how any of that can be blamed on the LibDems.

The Government need to act on IS, but are stll in disarry with a coherent policy.

Hardly anybody voted for the Libs but we still got them in power. Where is the justice in that ?

But not for long now...only a few months more to go, then bye-bye LibDems for another half century !
