The religious fervour of the aggressor is paramount and unfortunately that fervour, albeit perhaps not so aggressively, is shared by a great many Iraqis (as well as others) who will not oppose it. If the free world doesn’t act decisively and urgently now to eradicate this monstrous carbuncle once and for all, it will pay the price, because the creeping, malevolent cancer that is radical Islam will never abate and sooner or later, like it or not, in our own interests our positive involvement will be unavoidable.
