Yes, well done to Gordon, although I am not sure that his speech alone was the decider. The YES camp just didn't make a good enough case for such drastic action as the Referendum suggested. They failed rather than the NO camp won.

Mrs JtH is 'content' with the vote.
Like *all* other Scots, I suspect, she would have loved the "Yes" vote to have succeeded......but the shambolic campaign run by Salmond/Sturgeon simply wasn't the right way to go about it.

Had S&S not shilly-shallied, dissembled, mixed bombastic rhetoric with vague reassurances and gone to the voters with a definite plan for Scotland to move forwards and not concentrated on SNP policies post-independence, they might even have won.
