Are these groups exclusive to white brits or brits in general and if so does anyone know the percentage of these groups who aren't white and are they generally welcome into these groups?

Mickey, I am on about your obsession with non whites. UKIP are not trying to stop non whites alone it is general immigration that is their beef and the concern of many citizens in this country of all skin colours, religions(or not) and ethnic backgrounds who consider the UK their home (because it is).
LOL @ youngmafbog!☺
Mikey I really couldn't say a percentage but Amjad Bashir was giving a talk, the fact he was elected as a UKIP MEP for Yorkshire/Humberside and had a lot of followers there bumped up the non white UK citizen presence. Its in UKIP's interest to put forward as many representatives of Ethnic groups and non white citizens as possible for MP's and Councillors and there are plenty of offers. The Patrons Club has around 25 -30% I would say of non-white supporters
Scurrilous question!
I have to add this to my post above. Immigration has little to do with the colour of your skin these days thanks to the E.U. I see a lot more white beggars on the streets than black, all with East European accents.
Once again ymb...I am addressing Henriettas post. Her words say "who aren't white"

Thank you Retro. Sorry to spring that on you today ! So it would appear that at about 70%-75% of those attending were white, if I understand you correctly.

Does anybody on here today attend the BNP Conference, or whatever EDL have ? It would be interesting to see what percentage non-whites that they attract, although common sense would dictate that they must be either non-existent, or at some microscopic level.
Yes Retro, but that is the point people like Mickey just dont get.

They see immigration and skin colour as going hand in hand and then apply the racist tag in an attempt to silence them in the good old fashion left wing manner.
I doubt very much anyone on here attend an EDL 'confernece' !!
Khandro...was your post at 16:19 directed at me perhaps ? I have looked up your word and it means abusive, vituperative, derogatory, disparaging, etc.

Not sure what was any of those things to do with my question. Retro is one of the few on AB that has said that he/she attended the UKIP Conference, and so it was a perfectly normal question to ask, and she hasn't complained about my asking it, so...once again, you mystify me with your contributions.
In my time in the RAF I mingled with people from the four quarters of the British Isles as well as from the Commonwealth. Everyone got on perfectly well with each other, apart from those from South Wales. They didn't like anybody else and nobody liked them.
I'm not sure that the EDL have anything as organised as a "Conference" either ymb ! Maybe a quick meeting in a back alley or Pub perhaps.
What an interesting proposition Obiter...everybody was nice in the whole world, apart from South Walians !
no mikey I was talking about Patrons Club -membership is confined to those who pledge at least £1000 per annum towards Party funds. To be honest I didn't make a point of counting 'black or white' people attending the general Conference, it really just does not matter -does it?
True, you could take the Mickey out of anyone according to his origins and they would laugh it off, but not the Welsh, they would become aggressive.
Khandro is more than capable of defending himself, mikey, but when I read his post I automatically thought that it referred to the OP.
Jourdain...if that is true, than I apologise to K. But I wish people would make it clear who they are talking about on here. If we were all in the Pub discussing this issue, you would face the person when speaking to him but on here its not always easy to be sure.

Really? During my time in HM Forces I lost count of the times I was called sheep sh@gger, druid, trog, leek licker etc, but then as they used to say, if you can't take a joke......

As for the OP headline............oh dear.
Retro...thank you....its all clear now. But if there were lots and lots of non-whites, I am sure you would have noticed... wouldn't you ?
Moving away from UKIP for a moment, of course racism is not confined to white people. In fact many people of non-white nationalities demonstrate an almost pathological hatred for others. Most Africans hate most other Africans from different nations; West Indians detest Africans and vice-versa; Pakistanis cannot stand Indians; Indians are none too fond of Bangladeshis. The list is considerable,.

But returning to the question, many of the UK's most successful people are immigrants. As has been said, they have built up successful businesses or pursued good careers. Their children do well at school and they do their utmost to make the most of the chances the UK offered them. Because of this they do not want to see all their considerable efforts wasted by being taxed excessively to provide for people who contribute little to the economy.

The two main parties do not offer to deal with many of the problems that these people see. They have no realistic plans to curb immigration; they have no worthwhile plans to reduce taxation to sensible levels; they have no plans to reduce money spent on "overseas development" (quite the reverse in fact); they have no plans to reduce the pernicious influence Brussels (and Strasbourg) has upon the legislative process in the UK; they have no plans to encourage small businesses (who employ the vast majority of workers in the UK) to thrive preferring instead to see them throttled by red tape; they have no plans to limit over-development (often necessary because of the high growth in population, much of it due to immigration); they have no plans to overhaul the criminal justice system so that meaningful sentences are handed down (and actually served).

These are just a few of the many things that many immigrants already here and working hard are concerned about. They are concerned when they see seaside hotels used to accommodate large numbers of people who have arrived here illegally; they are concerned when they see schools where virtually all the pupils have English as a second language and need seven or eight assistants per class to provide interpretation; they are concerned that primary school places insufficient. And they are the things which they have no main party to vote for if they wish to see them tackled and which see them turn to the fringes.

How dare you. I just put my fist through the wall when I read that !!!!
