If Cameron, Clegg and Miliband can be persuaded to join Farage in a pre election 4 way debate, could it prove a winner for ITV, and attract more views than the BBC's 'Great British Bake off', or am I asking too much of the British TV audience's viewing preferences?

Not true blackadderv. SNP MPs sit in the house of commons and are allowed to speak on any subject.
Also Scottish voters should be represented in the TV discussions so they can question the views of the other Parties. Not everyone voted for the unholy alliance at the recent referendum. 55% did not vote for Independence if you recall.

I don't think Ukip will dive they are the party that has the bottle to say what the electorate want to hear, although I'd like to know more, how they would tackle other problems besides immigration and the EU. Cameron has dithered too long, Miliband has lost any hope of future leadership and Clegg is just not..not sure of the SNP policies, or anything remotely relevent for the Greens. A debate would make interesting TV (cheap entertainment again) at best on a par with Question Time. IMO there would be some showmanship from the debators on a TV programme and this would detract a serious debate. I'm not sure I'd want to watch that, I don't like Bake Off either.
