Maybe you saw this story recently. I missed it coz I was away, but it's caused quite a stir locally.

How do we feel about PDAs generally?

The local students are having "kiss ins" where everyone is encouraged to stand outside Sainsburys and snog their pals (same gender pals, obviously, given the context).

The parade thing is a bit tricky, because its a big part of our calendar here.

Also, the best party of the year is the annual pride week lesbian all nighter. This year was the first time I've missed it for years, coz I was away.

With the fairies?
presumably the merely bicurious are allowed to miss it every second year?
LOL @Sqad.

Sainsburys And The Lesbians never really happened until one day their manager changed the name to The Flaming Lips.
Never looked back.

jno ... the merely "nothing of the sort but like a good party" are allowed to turn up any time ... it all very welcoming.

As long as there's no kissing in Sainsburys, of course.
Question Author
LOL jno ...

I love the image of some fat, sweaty bus driver getting all lairy and abusive.

:0D

From one of the links on your page, it seems to have been a bad month for the supermarkets ...

You keeping well, Tony?

Anyone who believes they had a peck on the cheek must be thick.(or have an agenda)
I think that the story has been twisted. Why would the security guard tell the shopper what the offended woman had said? If I had a snogging couple in my workplace, I certainly wouldn`t be repeating what the shopper had said. That is only going to inflame things. Either the snogging lady is exagerating, or the security guard needs to learn to deal with tricky situations with more tact and dipomacy IMO.
^ agreed. It was probably a bit more than a peck on the cheek.
I'm gonna get shot down here, but who honestly wants to see a parade of gays kissing, hugging and feeling each other in public?
Seriously? Before you start asking me questions about my views on sexuality, do you really want to see displays of gay sexuality (or even hetro sexuality) on public display?
Yes fine thanks Jayne - you still spending your time skiing?

nailit ...

You're not going to get shot down (and I hope nobody does).

Each of us is switched on by different things. Nobody should be criticised for being open about their own preference.

We have no control over what we do, or don't, like.

I don't like auberge new or Morris Dancing.
You going for a dip in the sea in the morning?
Question Author
Gaah! Stupid auto spell thing.

For the record ...

I don't like aubergines or Morris Dancing !!
