Why on earth has he conflated these two subjects ? What possible connection can there be between them ? How can he know that his Calypso has been commented on more than child abuse ?

What difference does it make if it has ?

I haven't commented so far of the song, because it didn't seem worth it to give it any publicity at all. If it has now backfired on him and his party, and it would appear that it has, why is he moving the goalposts ? Farage is his own worst enemy, time after time.

Can't you see the simple fact that he was just making a legitimate comparison of certain persons priorities when it comes to news stories, no body would have remarked on this calypso if it had not been attached to UKIP.

Another example would be that it is more newsworthy too comment on the expected Royal arrival than what is going off in the Ukraine.

Farage does not really need to campaign for votes, as in effect Labour and the Libdems are doing that on his behalf. Once derided as a clown, he is now a serious performer on the British political scene, and the established parties ignore that at their peril.
