"Nothing sinister, just a man in the wrong place at the wrong time", "Briefly arrested", "No threats were made", "man's details were checked", "de-arrested" and allowed on his way.
Ah now that is nice, such a typical English approach.

I have looked at this 2 or 3 times and I still can't work out what is going on, but if this "jogger" was a real terrorist, Nick Clegg would in total charge this afternoon, methinks ! What were daves security chaps thinking of ?

The security lapse is appalling.
Anyone who is close enough to shove the PM is close enough to stab him.
And had that been the case, a back-up assassin could have calmly stepped in and finished the job while Cameron's security people were all looking at what could have been a diversion for the real assassination attempt to be acted out.

Frightening lapse by the security, can you imagine Bazzas boys letting that happen? What a shambles, however let me relax the main fear here, Cleggie may be deputy PM but he would not be PM if the PM that would be inheritant leader of the Tory party under their rules, probably party chairman until they elect a leader properly. The post of Deputy PM does not actually exist it is one of those made up positions used from time to time whan expedient to do so.
