who actually believes that Swampy-looking character who claimed to be a jogger and didn't know it was the PM he ran into? What an unlikely direction to be jogging in, for starters. And my how he is milking the publicity. Can't help wondering had that been a suicide bomber though...

From the film footage it looks like he didn't run IN to him, it looks like he ran AT him. As for not knowing it was Cammy... aw , come on !! Unless the "jogger" has been living up the Hindu Kush or the dark side of the moon for the past few years, then sorry, I don't believe him. Also, he was running at a VERY strange angle and he's certainly milking the attention. The...

I believe him.

Who actually believes the PM ?
It seems to me, from the video, that if Dave wasn't there he would have run into the waste bin, as he seems to be running on a diagonal rather than parallel to road, seems very much the intention was to run into Dave
I bet the air was blue.
They should have shot him. The jogger I mean.
He didn't look much like a typical jogger. They 'de-arrested' him though, so they must be satisfied with his story.
Did the minders come from tunnelvisionsecurity.com?

It was absolutely laughable.
Funnily enough, pedestrians bump into each other all the time. I'm sure you must have been bumped into before.

The only remarkable thing about this incident was the person being bumped into, and that someone was filming it.

From the joggers point of view, a group of men (the security) walk into his path because they are crossing the pavement. He tries to cut through them which accounts for his diagonal direction to Cameron.

the minders will be from the met. doubt private security companies get a look in for governmental work (not in this country anyway!)
It does explain why he taped up a piercing on his ear though? I've seen runners do that when they have long hair that might pull on certain piercings.

I don't really know who is telling the truth nor have an impression either way.

Also, he was running at a VERY strange angle and he's certainly milking the attention. The security team though should definitely all be sacked. VERY sloppy "security". Don't get me wrong, I'm no Cammy fan but assault is assault. The "jogger" is lucky that he's got away with this.
Janbee - Wouldn't "Cammy" just look like a bloke in a suit standing around with some other blokes in suits?... In a place where blokes in suits stand around? I mean, I don't know if the claim is "I don't know who David Cameron is" and more "I didn't recognise that this particular chap was him"?
Good point Auntie. It could just have been a "Bore of Grey men"... i.e. they all looked the same. Point taken Auntie xx
He did the PM a huge favour by highlighting the flaws in his protection !
Cameron said his protectors did a good job. Cure better than prevention then....
/Cameron said his protectors did a good job/

is that like football clubs giving the manager their full support?
He was wearing running shoes, track suit bottoms and a T-Shirt. How is that not looking like a jogger?

Camerons itinery would not be known to the public. The time he left the meeting would not be known either. The meeting of the two was purely coincidental.
i think it was premeditated and he had his defence prepared ... he's lucky to be alive

Here's a thought, I bet they've still swampy under surveillance.
still GOT swampy
