Our latest Charity Quiz of 100 cryptic clues is now available. Those who left an SAE after the last one will receive it shortly - they were all posted out on Nov 1st.

Compiled by your very own puzzle solver and maker, gen2, this quiz has been several months in the making and comprises 100 cryptic clues on the theme of 'Down on the Farm'. Every answer either is, or contains, a reference to farming.

The quiz is to raise funds for the upkeep of the premises owned by Kirkcaldy Art Club (Registered Scottish Charity number SCO 37822).

Closing date is January 31st 2014.

If you enjoy the 'Rainbow Quizzes', or even my previous offerings ('Rocky Horrors', 'Terrible Twos', 'ART-TRA', 'Not Holly but Ivy', 'Flowers of Scotland', 'It's Raining' or 'Come Rain or Shine'), then I am sure you will enjoy this 'Come Rain or Shine' one as well.

Do you have friends, relatives or work colleagues who enjoy these types of quiz? Then why not order several copies?

Quizzes are available . B Y . P O S T . for just £1 each + SAE (Yes! £1 - that's just 1p a question!)
Coins should be taped into a card or at least protected by card.
Cheques should be made payable to 'Kirkcaldy Art Club' and the envelope should be DL size (~ 9" x 4") or c5 size (9" x 6.4") i.e. for A4 sheets folded in 3, or in half.
BUT remember that envelopes larger than C5 will require a more expensive stamp.
ALSO, a standard stamp will only be certain to cover up to TWO quizzes (each quiz comprises 3 sheets of A4)

I thought numbers 2 and 5 were too difficult for the quiz itself so I'm interested to see what you make of them.
Hi gen. Looks like another great Quiz.. Is No. 2 C.C. ?
Question Author
No Mazie No.2 isn't C C but number 1 is.
Hi Gen2
It looks like a good quiz, but to be pedantic ... Porsche is spelled with an S. Perhaps 1 should be rejigged as (4,5)
No 5. B L ?
Question Author
Fair enough Kettledrum - just as well then that this one was rejected. (also works as 'Porsche car')

Only the final 100 underwent a final round of testing but even there I'm sure an error could have slipped through.
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to find as many as you can.
Question Author
Yes, B L for number 5
Is number 1 Cash Crop ?
3. Boar
5. British Landrace
Question Author
You are doing so well 'TheWinner' - why not send off for the whole quiz?
Is this available as a pay-on return email quiz or downloadable as the "Rainbow Quiz" you mention ?.
Super, Gen2 - can't wait!
Question Author
Yes Mamyalynne, the closing date is of course Jan 31st 2015.
