Jordy...You do know that CB type chat is frowned upon in serious topics?
Some of your jokes are just not funny. I actually asked you once if you'd laughed at the joke you'd posted and you admitted you hadn't.
I have no problem with your choice of music but it did become very tedious when you were continually posting youtube links in threads unrelated to music or the song you'd posted.
I wasn't the only person who pointed this out but it's only me you seem to remember.
None of the above is putting you down.

She didn't.
I used to think that people were a bit thick if they didn't know something that I did, simply because I thought that if I know it then surely everyone else must. However, I think it was Chris Tarrant on Who wants to be a millionaire that said something like, 'It's only easy if you know the answer' and that is very true. So now it doesn't surprise me at all if someone doesn't know the answer to a question no matter how easy I think it is and no-one should be called names because of it.
//The Stones were making their name in the 60s, nearly 50 years ago. Imagine being young then and being asked a question then about an entertainer who had been a star in the 1910s. //
the difference though, sandy, is that 50 years after her music hall appearance in 1910, marie Lloyd had been out of the public eye for more than 30 years. whereas, 50 years after their inauguration the rolling stones (and the bee-gees, who were mis-identified in the same question) were still performing and recording, and were still prominent in public life.
