No one on here can accuse me of supporting Labour, but fairs fair, when are the media going to stop attacking Ed Milliband?

Yes we know he hasn't got the media friendly looks that seems to hold sway these days, but he can't help having the looks that he was born with, have we become that shallow that we only go for the smooth faced look of Cameron or Clegg, but then it worked with Blair and look where that led us.

I don't mind him. He seems less odious than most in the Labour Party.
True, it's all about change.

Perhaps, we should have a whip round for him?
Doesn't the outcome of polls depend on who's asked? Maybe this poll was conducted amongst Lib-Dem supporters.
Sandyroe, but everyone has a minus rating!
Everyone has a minus rating? That speaks well for the taste and judgement of the electorate. ☺
^ ha ha!
Then again , bet he is not as unpopular as Thatcher was ,when she introduced the Poll Tax,-----LOL.
I'm sure what he did to his brother doesn't sit well with us shallow types, what a cad.

Yes I bet you think his brother is much more attractive?

Neither of them is attractive to me AOG, on looks or politics
All is fair in love and war, look at the likes of Farrier who will use anything to attack what they dont like.

well, boot is on other foot now.

I bet labour regret choosing him. If his brother had been in chafge I reckon labour would be in a far better position.

Sorry Prudie, it was you attaching yourself to the 'shallow type' label that threw me.
Labour won the landslide election in 1997 and again in 2001 and 2005, all under Blair, so I've never been sure where all this anti-Blair nonsense comes from. There is an argument to be made that if he didn't dedicate in favour of Brown, Labour would have won an historical 4th Election in 2010.

And if Ed is so unpopular, why are Labour still ahead in the Polls ?

I have posted this question many times here on AB but I am still to have an answer that makes sense !
YMB,your last post was a classic example of Pot and Kettle , try reading your Own Profile ??? Get your own house in order first ...
For dedicate, read abdicate ! Flipping spell checker !
...and Cammy is less popular than diarrhoea ! Little Nick ? ...well, let's just say the sooner we are NICKerless, the better.
I don't care for either Cammy or Millie or that little Nicky boy.
Mikey on this I think you may well be right "There is an argument to be made that if he didn't abdicate in favour of Brown, Labour would have won an historical 4th Election in 2010"
Brown was a disaster for Labour.
Prudie...difficult to argue with you there ! Brown always looked so grumpy and dour, as my Scots friends would say.
Trouble is Janbee, its going to one of them that winds next May, as there are no other possible candidates. The lesser of three evils perhaps ?
It certainly won't be Cloggy. His day in the sun is now over. Can't wait. He can now trot off into the sunset and the history books. Who will miss him?
