They let off fireworks (on Bomfire night...oooh, how radical), pushed over some bins and whacked people with rubber tubes.

True chaos was brought to London a few years ago - remember when the lorry drivers decided to blockade London (protesting the government's fuel hike) by driving slowly down a number of predetermined routes.
Worked brilliantly. The whole of the City and West End were properly gridlocked for the whole of one evening.
I was working in Aldgate at the time, and spent two hours sitting on a stationary bus. Eventually, I had to walk all the way home. In all, my journey took four hours.
Now that was a protest. These suburban trustafarians know nothing.
