Strange Days......

These are a strange few days for us. My wifes' aunt died on Tuesday, which really upset her as she was very close, although it wasn't unexpected. On Thursday, my daughter gave birth to our first grandson. A total contrast of feelings; deep sadness followed quickly by a happy event. Two opposite emotions in such a short time. Mrs Clarion finding it hard just now. But life's like that, I suppose. In the midst of life we are in death, as we found out this week.

Bittersweet 10. I've been through exactly the same a few months ago. As others have said, your new grandson will help you smile but sad moments/ memories will still come for a while yet.
