I remember us discussing this incident of a Policeman assaulting a suspected shoplifter on AB earlier this year, and it now appears that the Metropolitan Police have acted acted decisively at last.

thank God for CCTV - it is amazing what people say happened and then see the CCTV ( thinking of evil Conrad Lord Black more than anything else - did time for destroying evidence but did it on video unfortunately for him )

I agree PP. CCTV is king here. But it still counts on the Met taking matters seriously and on this occasion, they have done exactly that, for which I
congratulate them.
