why has this even come up? The signage says what is a wheelchair space, they don;t even mention puch chairs on the buses I use, clearly this woman had her pram in that space. No brainer, the driver should have moved her and put the bloke in the wheelchair there. What we have here is a driver that needs to grow a pair. if I was the disabled bloke I'd get on put me brakes on and not move.
Here's a real experience someone I know had
Taking twins and a toddler to pick up elder sibling from school - the bus driver made her get off as the space could not fit wheelchair and double buggy - she was late to pick the other child up!
Most spaces can easily fit a chair and a buggy its just if someone decides to be difficult
