This poor little lad...I have my fingers crossed today.

I saw this on the news this morning. They reckon he's been there about 5 days. It's amazing he's still alive.

According to the Today Program just now, the temperatures have been as high as 40 degrees in this part of Oz. But it seems that he is going to survive.

What a contrast to another little boy, killed by an American policeman yesterday :::

I thought I'd read in today's papers that he had passed away, the mother had been found and is being charged.

I'm surprised the baby hadn't been attacked by animals.

Oz, the mother has been charged and is thought to be suffering from PND. I hadn't heard that the baby died but he is in a bad way.

I may have been a bit optimistic regarding this babies health. Again, according to the BBC, he is in the best childrens hospital available, so I still have my fingers crossed. We must also have concern for the mother.

Oops. The baby is alive although in a critical condition.
The 30yr old mother has been arrested and charged though I'm not sure what the charge is.
The baby will go into state care.

The mother must be suffering badly to have done that in the first place.

She's been charged with attempted murder according to the news this morning.
