Should you receive a Card through your letterbox from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Services) with the explanation that they have tried to deliver a parcel to you BEWARE ,it is a Scam ,if you telephone the number on the card the cost would be £315.
I know many of us have heard of these scams before and we also say that we are far to clever to be caught by this BUT if one of these posts saves someone from being ripped off then I think it is worth it.
Think of others .Always.

Thank you for that, in a mo !
There is no number that charges you that sort of money immediately. This has to be nonsense.

However it isn't beyond scammers to get you to dial premium numbers so always check if it doesn't appear to be a normal local or national call area code you are asked to call.

See link ^^ it was debunked last week!
This doesn't make sense. There is no premium rate number that can charge you £135 as soon as you are connected. See this :::

http://www.area-codes.org.uk/0906-numbers.php

If you were to listen for a long, long time to the message, the cost is going to be high but not £135. However, even if you paid for just one minute, it will still cost you about £3. This is scam but not a £135 scam.

It seems the this is a HOAX email about a scam that ran in 2005 and was shut down and fined £10,000 the call charge was apparently £15 not £315.
Anyway my APOLOGIES but never the less be careful there are people out their planning all of the time,to rip us all off, so Hoax or not Be aware
They didn't have the sense to close down & get away before they were caught & fined ?

Amateurs !

Or even a £315 scam either, eh Mikey?
This did exist years ago - but the company got done for it!
Always good to err on the safe side in a mo !
Sorry baldric...dyslexia creeping in !
This scam rears it's ugly head every Christmas. There's always somebody who has never heard of it before so it's good to always be reminded. Stay alert my friends. Thanks for reminding us In a Mo. . Lots of people are out and about at this time of year and come back to find a note through the letterbox saying just what you've posted. Beware folks !
