Sorry to harp on but why/how is this an issue in 21st century Britain, when we are giving away over £12 BILLION in foreign aid?

I simply cannot grasp it and doubt I ever will.
Anyone else of a similar view?

You can't really have it both ways: bemoan the giving of foreign aid while at the same time complaining that benefits are too generous
The fact that even this government raised foreign aid ought to be a clue that it matters

ok ummmm remind me how anyone is hungry? Have alook at Calais, thousand want to come here because of the generosity of our benefits system. If anyone is hungry it's because they spent their(our!) money on something else.
