We're it not for the fact that the FBI seem to think N Korea really were behind this, I'd be inclined to think this was the work of some smelly ex-employee with a grudge.
And therefore unlikely to result in carnage unless of course he has a loaded gun and is not afraid to use it which of course is more than possible.
And actually probably more dangerous than N Korea as a matter of fact which has a record of making threats with little or no back-up.
Easy for me to sit here and say that of course.

Yes, well you may have something there.

It would not be too difficult to make something appear to originate from Korea, I doubt their all servers are brilliantly defended so just bounce it off one from anywhere in the world.
What exactly is the film about?
Don't know why they made this film in the first place. Just hope the threats are idle .

It is a 'comedy' about the assassination of the Nth Korean leader.

By all accounts, a particularly average film.
Great publicity though!!
North Korea would be a comedy in itself, were it not for the fact that it is also a tragedy. It is China, and China alone which props up this basket case of a regime. Without Chinese help it would have disappeared long ago and Korea would be reunited.
Absolutely great publicity, what is probably a crap film at best will gain a cult following and earn Sony a good few quid.
Leaving aside the politics of this subject; it was a tactless idea to start with, and it is not surprising that the North Korean government is annoyed about it. However, the reactions on both sides are just childish.
