If it was a medical condition of the driver's, it is his private affair. As has been said, it will probably come out at the inquest.

The swift investigation may be taking place, it doesn't mean that they have to make it public as to what caused it. If it's the driver's personal medical condition, that's all they have to say, not to give details.

I think we can safely say it was a tragic accident caused by the driver suffering a serious medical incident. If we're wrong and it was either foul play or a faulty van, then we'll hear about it in good time.

Lets call our own closure and leave the families to grieve away from the media.

As Amphi says, today is a really bad day to start querying when the results will be made public. For all we know, some of our ABers may have had family or friends involved in this situation.

Some racist fascist who lives round the corner from us has taken great delight in posting a link on FB to (I think) a DM article that says the driver was a Muslim immigrant (and therefore the accident was the government's fault for 'letting them in'). That was the main point of the post, though, so until I hear any more I'm going to treat it - and the poster - with the contempt they deserve.
