Not some catch-all that future governments could subvert for their own purposes, but a single-issue question right now :

1. Do you unreservedly condemn the actions of the Charlie Hebdo murderers?

2. Will you do everything possible (including informing against your own family if need be) to stop anything similar happening here?

Any answer except a pair of single word "Yes" answers (no weasel words, modifiers or explanations allowed) and you will be asked to leave ... now ... to a country of your choice where your views are acceptable.

British Citizens would have their passport revoked immediately they were 'assisted' onto the appropriate plane. All would be permanently barred from re-entry.

I thought about this when I was angry on Wednesday - but decided to let myself cool down and think before posting.

I've had a think - and actually I'm even more angry now.

Yes.
Yes.
YES
YES

And this would of course generate honest answers!

Yes
Yes
And a massive YES - TO THIS IDEA!!
Not workable because folk would say yes for the sake of it - it's bit along the lines of 'Would you like an Aston Martin?' or 'Would you like a million pounds?' It needs further qualification......
Who would dare answer no?
3. Will you eat a bacon sandwich, witnesses by a local government representative?
No.
"Who would ever dare answer no" I would because the idea is unworkable.
Yes and Yes but I think ''assisted' onto the appropriate plane' is the weak point of your...erm...argument.
I know that but who would answer no because that's how they felt?
The Americans used to have something similar. 'Are you now or have you ever been...?'
sorry that's a DUMB idea.
In principle I agree with all you say
Just sit back and watch all the apologistas jump up on this thread and trot out the usual." Where are you going to send them on that plane. They were born in this country and are 2nd or 3rd generation born in this country"
Choudary was born in this country but his family originates from Pakistan.
He is demanding Sharia Law in all countries(Fox News interview) He and the likes of this scum and their families should go back to the filthy holes in the ground in the un civilised world they crawled from. It is not difficult to trace the origins of a family.
Don't you find that people...especially those who are so convinced that they are right.....just can't answer...yes or no....they have to add a yes but....

Perhaps a lie detector.....

I'm as angry as you are, Dave....x
Angry you may well be, SD, but this is nothing more than McCarthyism. It was utterly discredited at the time, and remains that way.
I'm sorry gness. let me have your email address and I'll run all my posts past you for approval.
In the spirit of Charlie Hebdo I say va te faire f***** :-)
Je suis Charlie aussi, tu sais
You are making yourself look ridiculous, like the ayatollahs
And I'm sorry, Zacs.... you have lost me completely ??

I think what I'm trying to say is that (despite being a member of the "tree-hugging, left-leaning, multiculturalists") there has to be a point where certain actions (and support for thiose actions) are incompatible with the way of life and values that we espouse in Britain.

And yes - obviously all the real terrorists would answer 'yes' to the questions without batting an eyelid and get on with their seditious work.

But do we really have no way at all of weeding out the 'fellow travellers' who, by not condemning the terrorists, give them a veneer of respectability?
