A bit of a misconception there Chill. I never use it to send messages but I 'follow' various entities which keep me up to date with things. More efficiently than some other sources it would seem ;-).
I now use it as the de-facto news source for developing situations.

Naomi, it's a colloquialism for the entity which is 'twitter'. As I've sadi to chill, it's not what people think and a very good way to keep abreast of developing situations.

I rarely use twitter and only use it to follow news really. It was incredibly useful when we had the riots going on, with people at the scene reporting as it happened.
