Just heard, what a shock, I was only reading about her on here yesterday, she was only 60.

Very unexpected. She obviously had problems but there was no suggestion that she was very ill.

I thought she took the break due to stress. Nothing was mentioned about any other illness

I can't admit to being a Corrie fan, but it's still very sad news, 60 is no age to die these days. Deidre was a popular character and at least her family have the assurance that Anne will never be forgotten because of her.

awful news' when someones been in your life all be it on tv at least 3 times a week for 44 years and (weve both watched coro since it was born) it's like loosing a close friend
