We should have got rid of all those pretty, shiny, silver and gold boxes years ago, so its well overdue. ( I know TTT will be cheering this morning ! ) The tobacco lobby has had the upper hand for far too long.

Snap!! Sobranie Cocktails were the only brand I ever bought based on visuals.


I couldn't smoke Menthol if someone offered me a pack free.


If plain packaging stops anyone starting,I don't mind it - but I doubt it will.

I had to wean myself off Menthol cigarettes and smoke plain ones, I smoked too many of them.

The dedicated smokers on here will never accept any thing that is designed to discourage smoking as anything other than 'more rubbish from the smoke haters'. You lot are too far gone.
This is all to make smoking less attractive to teenagers and stop them from starting in the 1 st place
There was a poll on here a few years back about the age that people started smoking, every single reply was ' between 11 and 19'. Not one person started after 20 !!!
If we can stop people under 20 from trying smoking there will be no problem in 30 years or so, as all smokers will be dead!
